Privacy Policy for Remindr

Remindr is a utility app for capturing, reviewing, and temporarily keeping short codes available when you need them. This includes, for example, entry codes, exit codes, gate codes, locker codes, and other short temporary codes. At Remindr, we value your privacy. This policy outlines how we handle your data.

Data stored on your device

Remindr stores the current code, recent code history, and app settings locally on your device so the app can restore your recent state across restarts.
Remindr does not require an account, sign-in, or uploading your saved codes to developer-operated servers..

Microphone and speech capture

Speech capture is optional. If you enable it, Remindr requests microphone permission so you can dictate a code instead of typing it. If you do not grant permission, the app remains usable with keypad and keyboard entry.
When speech capture is used, audio may be processed by the speech recognition service available on your device or platform. Remindr does not use microphone access unless you explicitly choose speech capture.

Home-screen widget

If you add the Remindr widget to your launcher, it may display your current code on the home screen.

Advertising

Remindr displays banner advertising. Ads may be served by Google Mobile Ads / AdMob. Ad providers may process device or app information for purposes such as ad delivery, fraud prevention, diagnostics, measurement, or policy enforcement, according to their own privacy documentation.

Data sharing

Remindr does not provide an account system and does not intentionally transmit your saved codes to the developer’s own servers. Third-party services may process data when their features are used, including speech recognition and ads.

Data retention

Codes and settings stored by Remindr remain on-device until you clear them in the app, uninstall the app, or remove app data.

Your choices

  • Deny microphone permission and continue using keypad or keyboard entry
  • Clear saved codes in the app
  • Remove the widget from your home screen
  • Uninstall the app or clear app storage

Security and visibility

Remindr is designed for short-term convenience, not secure secret storage. Because codes may be shown on-screen or in the home-screen widget, avoid using Remindr to store highly sensitive credentials that require stronger protection than ordinary device access controls.

Contact

For privacy questions or support requests, use the support contact details provided in the app’s Google Play listing.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if Remindr changes its features, data handling, advertising configuration, or platform integrations. The latest published version should always be considered the current privacy policy.
